We all have our own unique biology and microbiome and therefore our bodies respond to foods differently. Those who fuel their body with foods that best serve their biology feel the difference.
Optimal nutrition is not a diet, it’s a lifestyle. The word “diet” evokes thoughts of scarcity and restriction. Creating a healthy lifestyle is the exact opposite. When you develop sustainable habits built around a positive association with food, individuals and families thrive. I cannot think of a greater gift to our children than providing a foundation for them to thrive.
Proper nutrition is not only what you eat, it is also when you eat, and how you eat. I call this the Triad of Nutrition. We need to build all three facets into our lifestyle design if we want to fully unlock our true metabolic and restorative power.
